Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervise all personnel at the site level
  • Maintain the construction schedule while holding trades and suppliers accountable
  • Work with subcontractors and suppliers with planning and completion of the work, reading drawings and interpreting specifications
  • Coordinate delivery of materials to the site
  • Coordinate required inspections with required cities and departments
  • Ensure compliance with martini levels of quality while maintaining the design intent, safety standards, budget and schedule
  • Identify and address subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
  • Quality control – proactively address deficiencies
  • Ensure trades rectify all deficiencies on a timely manner
  • Resolves complaints and grievances that may arise within the workforce at the jobsite
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean, organized, and adhering to job safety standards
  • Work directly with our Project Managers and our office design staff.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in construction or a related industry
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Construction Foreman or Construction Supervisor Role
  • Level 1 or 2 First Aid is an asset
  • Site safety officer (CSO) Certification is an asset
  • Valid BC Drivers License
  • Strong communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills

PROJECT MANAGER

Job description

The martini group of companies, based in Langley, is currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager. This position will play an integral role as part of our project management and design team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and regulating construction projects. Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, time management, and impeccable organizational skills. You will be working directly with President, Superintendents other Project Managers and Design / Drafting Team.

  • Plan and organize the logistics behind all construction projects in accordance with the schedule and budget
  • Handle contracts and revise any additional changes in contractual agreements with architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Monitor progress and ensure a high standard of accuracy and quality with projects
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions for the appropriate projects.
  • Represent the company in business-related matters, including meetings, services, or contract negotiations.
  • Organize problems and tasks that best align with the end goal in mind

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in construction, project management, or a related industry
  • Minimum 4 years experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Familiar with BC Building Code is preferred

Job description

The martini construction is currently looking for a full-time Carpenter for our Surrey sites. This position will play an integral role by executing what our team and clients have designed to completion. You will be working directly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and our Design Staff.

Construction Labourer

martini construction is currently looking for a full-time Construction Labourer for our Port Coquitlam and Surrey site. This position will be required, but not limited to perform heavy lifting of up to 50lbs, assist tradespersons in construction activities, and handle various hand/power tools
